Step 6

There are not many chess trainers for the higher Steps, and certainly not for Step 6. That is the main reason the target audience for the book has changed. It is no longer a manual for the trainer but a self-study book for everyone.

Studying the instruction book together with its companion Workbook Step 6 is only useful if the first 5 steps are mastered well and the level of the player's own games is correspondingly high.

The level of difficulty is again a step higher. The solutions of the exercises are again one move deeper. There is much attention for strategy, and the endgame returns in many chapters. Only one chapter is devoted to tactics.
