The mix workbook contains 61 pages of exercises — 61 × 12 = 732 − 14 (drawings) = 718 exercises.
The themes are familiar from Step 2, Step 2 plus, Step 2 thinking ahead and Step 1. The plus books had no mixed exercises until now.
Themes
For all exercises the assignment is simple: play the best move. Just like in a real game, you do not know whether you can win or have to defend.
Only on the last 4 pages is the theme indicated: 4 pages of mate-in-two problems.
